Who are WE?
Weekend Friend, roots stretching from New York to Florida now thrive in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally a solo act by vocalist Bryan Wynne, the band's first connection began when Tyler Whiting, the drummer, connected with Tristan Galuppo, the bassist, through a note about starting a band in middle school. Guitarist Arnold joined the mix after responding to a call for a guitarist from a mutual friend.To keep developing the live sound, Weekend Friend added a second guitarist, Bryans cousin James from New York! Weekend Friend embodies your eager anticipation for the weekend, personal time, and connection.
who inspires us?
Our music is inspired by bands like Cage The Elephant, The Strokes, and The Killers. Weekend Friend is currently working on their summer album, and they look forward to bringing you great live music all summer 2025
